In 2007, Cedar Point introduced Maverick , a $21 million steel roller coaster. Located in Frontiertown, Maverick features a twisting course that winds between canyon walls, over water and through a dark tunnel. It is Cedar Point’s 17th roller coaster, more coasters than any park in the world.
